Anyone may sail on our lunch and dinner cruises. Cocktail and Moonlight Cruise passengers must be 21 years of age with a valid ID.

top

Can we bring children on the cruise?
A limited number of booster seats and high chairs are available for lunch cruises. Please call in advance so we are prepared for your child. The 3-hour dinner is very elegant, so we do not recommend bringing children. We do not offer children’s pricing on dinner cruises.

top

What type of entertainment is offered?
The entertainment director plays a variety of lively dance music from the '40s through today. In addition, our lunch and dinner cruises feature a professional cast of performers who provide lively entertainment throughout the trip. Our lunch cruise also includes a narration.

What is your smoking policy?
All interior areas of our ship are non-smoking areas. Passengers who enjoy smoking may do so on the outdoor observation decks.

top

Will my cell phone work on the cruise?
Yes, your cell phone will work on the cruise. For the comfort of other guests, we ask that cell phone conversations be held on the outside decks.

Making Reservations

Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are highly recommended. Guests are sometimes able to walk up and purchase tickets on the day of a cruise, but only if space is available. Groups should always make reservations in advance in order to guarantee seating in the same area.

top

How far in advance should I make reservations?
If you're planning for a large group, call us as soon as possible. A few months will make it easier to accommodate all of your preferences. Individuals should try to book within 30 days of their planned cruise. Of course, reservations can be made right up to the day of the cruise, provided there is space available. We recommend calling as early as you can, especially for special cruises such as July 4th and New Years Eve.

top

Which credit cards are accepted?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diner's Club.

top

Can I make reservations by phone and pay at the ship?
No. For individual parties, payment is required in full at the time of the reservation.

Last Minute Questions

What should I wear?

For evening cruises, appropriate attire is casual to dressy. Men traditionally wear slacks and sport coats, with or without ties. Women wear dresses or nice pants. We do not recommend T-shirts, jeans, shorts or sneakers in the evening. Afternoon cruises are generally more relaxed, and casual attire is fine.

top

Is parking available at the ship?

Yes, There is a parking lot on Columbus Boulevard at Lombard Circle, operated by Penn's Landing Corporation. A nominal fee is charged, varying by day of the week.

top

Do you sail in foul weather?
Most of the time, yes. The ship is fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. If for any reason the ship does not sail, the party will be held dockside.

top

What to Expect

How early should I arrive for my cruise?
You may pick up your tickets one hour before the cruise time. We generally board the vessel one half hour prior to the cruise.

top

Will I get seasick?
It's unlikely. The Spirit of Philadelphia is one of the largest and most stable cruise ships on the Philadelphia waterfront. On rare occasions when the water is very rough, our Captain will sail the vessel within the breakwater area.

top

What kind of food is served?

Our cruises feature bountiful buffets with delicious choices prepared on board by our executive chefs and their galley staffs. Selections include beef, poultry and seafood with fresh vegetables, salad, rolls with butter, and dessert. With advance notice, we can accommodate requests for kosher meals, and we can arrange special meals for guests with allergies. Other specialty menus are available for deck or full-ship charters.

top

Soft drinks are $2.20 each and juice is available for $2.50 each. These prices do not include tax and gratuity.

top

How is seating arranged on board?
